The short version

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no tracking of any kind. The only personal information I ever get is what you type into the contact form and send me on purpose, and I use it for one thing: replying to you.

What this site collects on its own

Nothing. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no embedded video or social widget, and no cookie — not even one to remember a preference. The fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, and the images are served through this site's own image handling, so simply reading a page does not hand your visit to anyone else.

The contact form

The form asks for your name, email address, a subject and a message. When you submit it, those four fields are passed to Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which forwards them to my inbox. Web3Forms handles the message in transit; it is not used to build a profile of you and there is no mailing list to be added to.

If the form is not connected to that service, the button instead opens your own email app with the message pre-filled — in which case nothing is sent anywhere until you press send yourself, and the message travels purely between your mail provider and mine.

The form also carries a hidden field that only automated bots tend to fill in. If it comes back filled, the submission is discarded. That is the whole of the spam handling.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, their servers keep standard request logs — things like IP address, the page requested, and the browser making the request — which exist so the site can be delivered and kept online. I don't use those logs to identify anyone, and I don't combine them with anything else.

How long I keep it

Enquiries stay in my inbox for as long as the conversation is useful — an ongoing project, or a lead worth following up. If you'd rather I deleted yours, email me and I will, and I'll confirm once it's done. You can also ask for a copy of whatever I hold, which in practice is the email thread itself.

Who else sees it

Nobody. Your details are never sold, rented or passed on for marketing. The only parties that touch them are the form delivery service above and my email provider, both purely to get the message to me.

Links to other sites

The work section and the footer link out to client websites and to my profiles elsewhere. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site, under their privacy policy — not this one.

Asking me about any of this

Questions, corrections and deletion requests all go to the same place, and I usually reply within 24 hours.
